We provide Site Inspection and Monitoring services. These are needed when a building project has been awarded to a contractor, and frequent site visits are required to ensure that construction is being carried out in accordance with the structural design intentions. Particular attention is paid to:
• checking that work (such as excavations for foundations, reinforcement for concrete work etc) which is about to be covered up in the building process is satisfactory beforehand;
• monitoring standards of workmanship during construction;
• investigating whether the results of standard site tests (e.g. on the strength of concrete) are satisfactory and, if not, ensuring that further investigation is carried out and where necessary appropriate remedial work is put in hand.
